Sophie's Den is a lovely cottage in a quiet setting in Alnwick. It's close enough to walk to amenities in the town, and to get to the A1 to explore the rest of Northumberland. I've stayed in a number of holiday cottages over the years, and this was, by far the best. I'm completely in love with it!
